Andre Johnson, a former teammate of J.J Watt, described J.J’s abilities by saying, “Man, I don’t think there’s a word that can really describe J.J. He affects the game in so many ways, whether it’s knocking down passes or sacking the quarterback or just even causing confusion on the play.” J.J Watt is one of the most feared defensive players in the entire National Football League. He is on track to be one of the best defensive ends ever to play the game of football. In just four seasons, J.J totaled fifty-seven sacks. J.J Watt is an unbelievable football player. In his last season as a Badger, Watt led the team in many defensive categories, including tackles for loss, quarterback hurries, blocked kicks, and forced fumbles. J.J Watt would end up earning the prodigious Ronnie Lott (I.M.P.A.C.T) Trophy, an award that recognizes defensive college football players for illustrating the IMPACT acronym, integrity, maturity, performance, academics, community and tenacity. He has his own organization called the Justin J. Watt Foundation. This foundation looks for opportunities to help middle schools that have little money for after-school athletics, or schools that have no after-school athletics at all. The goal for this foundation is to give an opportunity for kids to be themselves. The Justin J. Watt Foundation has donated over 1.2 million dollars to middle schools for athletic equipment.
J.J Watt has made over 7 million dollars from endorsements. Some companies J.J endorses include Gatorade, Ford, Reebok, Papa John’s Pizza, and Verizon Wireless. He has participated in many commercials, and ads to promote these companies. J.J is endorsing these products because he is looked up to by many.
J.J Watt will continue disrupting backfields and sacking the quarterback. He will also continue to do charitable works for people. Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said, "J.J. is a very fine player, we all know that we had to play good, all the way to take care of J.J.". That quote says everything about J.J Watt, a great, freak-of-nature athlete, that never stops
