supporting three children may have compelled me to refer to relevant support systems to help her cope with the added stress of assuming different roles in her family.
One area of concern is finding suitable housing for her children as a requirement for custody. I would have immediately presented Izzie with a number of housing options that she can choose from. While the law does not require social service to provide housing, other means of help such as cash support to pay for housing accommodations would have provided more help for Izzie. The Housing First approach is proven to be an effective means to find Izzie a place to live and can be applied in her case.
