Ivory has been playing football since the age of nine, it’s his senior year and his desire for the game is almost at an end due to low self-esteem and his stubborn ways. He gets moved from linebacker to offensive guard, he doesn’t like the change at all, he questions himself about whether he wants to play on the next level or not. The main reason he’s holding on to the sport he wants loved was because of his dad, he knew his dad loved to watch. the coaches felt like Ivory wasn’t rowdy enough to secure the linebacker position, instead of accepting the change and continuing with the sport, he dwelled on the position he felt he was born to play, he got so caught up in the change and it devastated him, causing him to question his love for football …show more content…
