Mark Twain once wrote, “It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.” As the wise man that Mark Twain was, he always spoke with truth in the pieces he wrote. I find this quote inspirational to the fact that the size of an individual has no influence on the issue he/she faces if the fierceness on the inside is absolute. As a wrestler, I was taught to have this fierceness with me at all times and in everything I do. Because I have obtained this mindset throughout my wrestling career, I stride to teach others this way of thinking. For if one can find the mentality to overcome the obstacles they face, they will soon learn that they themselves are capable of much more than they assume. Though I strive to display
