I wasn't entirely sure what to expect going into Gravy, as judging it solely by the cover made you think it was going to be some cheesy low budget flick, trying way too hard to be funny. Boy is my face red! Gravy was a witty, gory and all around fun time, full of laughter, copious amounts of blood splatter and storyline that was quick paced and with straight for the jugular, literally.

Fans of the TV series It's Always Sunny in Philadephia may notice right off the bat a couple actors joining forces in this trippy little flick. You have Michael Weston, who from what I can tell, is channeling his character from the show and the other actor is Jimmi Simpson, who may not be as weird as the show (no milk involved), still comes off with some major creepy vibes. These aren't the only two good Actors though, as the entire cast is full of primo talent, with everyone hitting their comical mark with excellence. Major props need to be given to writers James Roday and Todd Harthan for giving birth to a film that oozes and congeals quick wit, dark comedy and horror together so wonderfully. Gravy is about a group of crazies who trap some people in a bar on Halloween night, to basically torture and eat them. I know, sounds the least like a comedy as you can get, but gosh damn, they pull it off with gusto. The situation goes to such extremes and characters go right along with it, as the bodies start piling up, the blood starts running thicker and the French Chef must cope with cooking such delectable meals full of people. It's one extreme situation after another and come the end, I was begging for more
