Iteration Cycle Lab Report

We conducted an iteration lab, where we were supposed to do 5 different iterations to our coaster car. But we didn’t have enough time to complete all of the iterations. But we successfully completed 2 of the iterations. For our first iteration we replaced rubber tires to both sets of wheels. We recorded 3 trials and the veer of each trial. This iteration had a good impact on our coaster car because the distance was so high and the veer was average. So we decided to keep this iteration. For our second iteration, we decided take the 2 back tires out. So for this iteration, we only had 2 rubber tires to the front wheels of our coaster car. We repeated the same procedure that we followed for the first iteration. We did 3 trials and the veer of each trial, which was least expected for our coaster car.
We would like to keep the first iteration we made because the coaster car was faster and went farther from using the 4 rubber tires to the back and front wheels of our coaster car. Others may not agree with this because it really depends on their car. The way they first created/designed their car affects on

I would like to explain those 2 iterations. For our first iteration, we added rubber tires to both sets of our wooden wheels. Trial 1: 1,445 centimeters as the distance for our car and the veer of 180 centimeters. Trial 2: 455 centimeters as the distance and 190 centimeters as the veer. Trial 3: 2,400 as the distance for our coaster car and 175 centimeters as the veer. For our second iteration, we put 2 rubber tires to the 2 front wheels of our coaster car. Trial 1: we had 1400 centimeters as the distance and 310 centimeters as the veer. Trial 2: we had 500 centimeters as the distance and 50 centimeters as the veer. Trial 3: we had 828 for the distance and 43 centimeters as the veer. The second iteration didn’t really help our coaster car so we decided to keep the first

If you are unfamiliar with the concept of the root user, do a quick google search. It is always a good practice on any operating system to run your applications on a user level and leave the administrative tasks to the root user, and only on a per-need basis. Applications are meant to be run by users with non-administrative privileges.(Power December 4, 2010)…

. Why does (or doesn’t) the frequency of a physical trait change in a rabbit population in different environments? c. This is an important investigation as understanding how populations are affected by different traits helps to understand why certain species thrive in an a certain an environment and why others don’t. This is an interesting investigation as there are no predators in this investigation, the rabbits are competing for food and that is why they are dying at an alarming rate.…

The main purpose of this experiment was to create an activity series. As shown above, the metals, in order of ease of reactivity, with Magnesium at the top (Being the most reactive) and Silver at the bottom (Being the least reactive). This shows that magnesium is more likely to give up its electron that aluminum or silver. The elements located near the bottom to this series would not react with other metals. This was proven when silver was placed in various aqueous solutions and did not react with them.…

The loop pass is when the first player usually a dummy half or the first receiver of a play of the ball or a penalty loops around the player who he has just passed the ball to. He will loop around the player and then receive the ball again. But only if he is fast enough if he is to slow the move wouldn’t work because he wouldn’t be in the right position to receive the pass. After the first player has got the ball back he should proceed to pass the ball down the line. This could lead to metres gained, line break or even directly into a try.…

When constructing the car, the goal was to make the car as sturdy as possible in order for the car to travel a great distance in a short amount of time. To do this, we researched various ways to create a mousetrap car. Additionally, we incorporated our own ideas to enhance the construction after trial and error. First, our team gathered all of the necessary materials that we would need to construct the car. These materials included one mousetrap, cardboard pieces, six balloons, four eye hooks, 2 smooth pens, string, and four small records.…

In this lab, we carried out a variety of reactions using different chemicals and metals. A chemical reaction is when the chemical state of the substance you are testing rearranges its ionic and molecular structure. One of the reactions we experienced was single replacement, this consists of one ion switching places with another ion to form a new compound. Another reaction we saw was double replacement. In this reaction, two compounds ions are switched to form two new compounds.…

Prior to conducting the lab on how moisture affects roly poly behavior, information had been collected from multiple sources that suppose and support the conclusion. roly poly ’s tend to be attracted to moist environments. From surveying other experiments and reports on roly poly behavior, a hypothesis was developed that stated roly polys will migrate to moist surroundings because it will accommodate their gills that help them breathe.…

Purpose: The overall goal of this lab was to perform a procedure on E. Coli which involved transferring genes that encoded for the green fluorescent protein into E. Coli to see if the transferred genes would make a difference on the growth and whether or not the bacteria would glow under UV light. Hypothesis: If the bacteria with the pGLO plasmid was grown on a plate containing LB and ampicillin then the bacteria will grow but not glow under UV light. If the bacteria with the pGLO plasmid was grown on a plate containing LB, ampicillin, and arabinose then it will be able to grow and glow under UV light. If the bacteria without pGLO plasmid was grown on a plate containing LB and ampicillin then it will not be able to grow or glow under UV light.…
