Treating the Itchy Bumps on Legs
Itchy Bumps can appear anywhere on the legs, whether it is on the feet or on the thigh. People who get this type of bumps often have the feeling to scratch it as it is so itchy. They are so frustrating but there is no need to worry about these bumps. These bumps are usually small and itchy, and appear and disappear more often. It is usually not advisable to scratch or burst open the bump as it will open the skin and cause unnecessary infection. Let us discuss some of the common causes for the appearance of these Itchy Bumps.
Itchy bumps are caused by the fluid inn between tissue cells. This is done by our own body in order to isolate areas that might have come in contact with an allergic / harmful substance.

The treatment for itchy bumps on the legs is done depending upon the cause of the bump. The most common treatment is to treat it with antihistamine drugs. Antihistamine drugs cut down the allergic reaction and reduce the itchiness. Topical creams also help in reducing the itchiness.
- In case of allergic reactions, the allergens are identified and discontinued.
- If the cause of the itchy bumps is virus infection, the doctor will have to determine the course of treatment. In case of infections like chicken pox, it has to reduce on its own. But some viral infections have medications available to treat it.
