Abstract
This manual was made to provide future students that want to study aboard with a better understanding of Italian culture before they arrive at their designated place to study in Italy. If future readers read, and comprehend this information given to them, they will have a more successful, and entertaining time studying abroad. Students must be prepared to have a very good work ethic in the classroom, and listen to their instructors to receive worthy grades. This country has been through a fallen society, two devastating World Wars, and fought through government issues throughout its whole existence. It has its negative past just like every other country. This country has always been in the position to be one of the top countries for world affairs. Italy is very fond of positive economic growth and a high standard of living. It is known as one of the most visited countries in Europe. “The richness of its past and the 'live-life-to-the-fullest' attitude of its present combine to make Italy a must-see travel destination” (A Brief History Of Italy: Italian History Highlights).
Religion:
Majority of Italians are Roman Catholicism. There is a small number of people who follow the Christian faith and very large part of the population that are Jehovah Witnesses. The second largest religion in Italy is Muslim. The Vatican City is located in Rome, as well as the Pope (Study in Italy). The Vatican City is a very religious and spiritual place in the heart of Rome, where it was established as its own city-state in 1929.
Government:
Italy’s government is known as the Italian Republic. There is a President that is appointed, and that appoints a Prime Minister. The seat of government is Rome, where the President resides in the Palazzo del
