Italica Seville is the first Roman city in Spain, situated fifteen minutes from the capital, in the city of Santiponce. The city was established in 206 BC. The city was the hometown of two Roman emperors: Trajano and Adriano.

At present the theatre it is entitled as the Archaeological Ensemble of Italica. Tourists of Spain can enjoy the walking at the ancient streets to explore the public buildings and ruined houses. One such place to visit is the amphitheater, which contains a capacity for 25,000 populace, being the third largest of the Roman Empire. Amphitheater is the place it would have arranged sporting events and gladiator fights for the neighboring population.
