Donald Trump does this by uniting all the American born citizens against illegal immigrants specifically, “about immigrants’ stealing American jobs” (Bremmer, Ian). In today’s world, nationalism is much different from what we’ve seen in the 19th century. For example, when Donald Trump used nationalism in his campaign, he was separating the two groups of people who currently occupied the United States, the immigrants and the United States born citizens. Trump altered the nationalist movement, uniting a certain group in a country rather than uniting a whole country. This led to an obsession for Trump, as he wants to build a wall along the border between the United States and Mexico so that illegal immigrants can’t sneak over the border. President Trump used nationalism in today’s political world to unite one, seperate, group against another, in hopes of becoming number one in the United States.

As previously explained, Donald Trump does this just so he can become the President of the United States and get everyone on his side just by saying people’s jobs are in danger. As I’ve seen in the United States, this act by Donald Trump has not made him a popular man by many immigrants. They are being segregated by Trump and some aren’t feeling a sense of
