A Taste of Great Quality There are thousands of different restaurants across the country where people can either wait five minutes for their lunch in a drive-thru lane but pay for rude service and processed food, and some where formal attire is required and food and beverages are so expensive they break the bank. What if there was a restaurant that offered both? A restaurant where service is top-of- the-line, food is warm and fresh, and the setting is elegant but inexpensive? A restaurant like this is not easy to find but thankfully, it does exist.…

A pizza usually sets a customer back about $8, with unlimited toppings. If they want to get fancy, for an additional $3 a consumer can have a mega pizza which consists of another crust in between whatever toppings they desire. All it takes is 90 seconds in a gas-fire oven to make a customer’s dreams come true. The cook spins the palette as it cooks to ensure the pizza toasts evenly. Each pizza is given individual treatment, which creates a connection with each consumer, because the brand cares about the outcome of each individual’s experience versus cooking in mass conveyer belt style.…

Italian-American Assessment Americans typically use the famous rhyme “In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue” in order to remember when and by whom the United States was founded. However, people of Italian descent often look at this saying with a sense of pride due to the fact that the well-known explorer, Christopher Columbus, was Italian. Additionally, the name America stems from yet another Italian voyager, Amerigo Vespucci (Spector, 2013, p. 331). This sense of Italian pride and identity in the United States led the immigrants to travel to this country when the issue of poverty arose in their home nation. According to Spector (2013), the migration of over 5 million Italians struck sporadically between the years of 1820 and 1990 (p. 331).…

Thanksgiving dinner is the best time of Fall, well that’s what I think anyway. My dad makes golden, crispy turkey on Thanksgiving which is the best in my opinion. The turkey is as good as Mexican food yet it tastes way better than Mexican. The corn my dad makes is creamy, sweet, and buttery ( if you put the butter on it). What we sometimes like to do is go outside and sometimes have bonfires and when we do, the bonfires crackle and pop like wildfires soaring through the trees.…

In assignment two, the multimedia evaluation, I categorized pizza, a notorious “junk food”, as a nutrient-rich food. I strategically organized my video, beginning with an attention-grabbing introduction, establishing three criteria, and ending with a call-to-action conclusion. Throughout my evaluation, I employed various rhetorical strategies to supplement my claim and convey a message to the audience, pizza lovers and/or skeptics. The use of these strategies combined with the arrangement of the film create an effective evaluation, establishing pizza as a nutrient-rich food.…

Ever since the mid 1900’s, the fast food industry has developed into something bigger than what it was when it started, this book, Fast Food Nation, was written by a man named Eric Schlosser. “McDonald’s French fries were once flavored with beef tallow, a processed form of hard white fat found on the kidneys and loins of cattle”. The fast food industry in this nation has grown fast and if it were not for the speedy service system, Automobiles, or teenagers then the fast food industry would not be so successful today. The McDonald’s brothers, Richard and Maurice McDonald, created the speedy service system in the year of 1937; they started out as a drive in restaurant. They had carhops and short order cooks, and at that time, they were serving food that involved using glass plates, glass cups, and silver ware.…
