Illegal immigration has always been a pressing issue in the US society. Most of the undocumented immigrants are Latinos/Hispanics. Several research surveys show that “individuals lacking legal status may have more difficulty obtaining health services and may experience worse health outcomes than do individuals with legal status” (Rhodes et al., 2015, p.329). As being illegal they always have a continuous fear of deportation that barred them to take health care facilities from federal or state service providers.
