When one sees a black male or female and a white male or female holding hands out in public, a countless amount of questions begin to surface. “Are they together?” or “Are they related?” or “Is that just a friend?” Being solely African American, Caucasian, Hispanic, or Latino automatically sets up some type of leeway or hardship for that person in today’s society. However, when one combines two dissimilar races into a relationship, others find ways to encounter them with issues or problems. Interracial couples are suffering from racism, discrimination, and a plethora of other issues in today’s society.
