Issue Of Advertising In Schools

Both letters address the issue of advertising in schools however, one student is for advertising and the other is against it. Advertisements can be obnoxious and seem useless but but these students have explained how in their letter they wrote to the school newspaper.

The letter written by Dave, who is the kid who is against advertising, has some good points in his letter. For example, he said that advertisers know how to manipulate people into buying their product. Dave used strong vocabulary, but there were a few spelling and grammatical errors. Janet had a few spelling and grammar errors as well but her point was made. What Dave did that Janet did not do was that he had a counter argument. he stated "I agree that schools need money. Budget
