On 8/31/17 a home visit and ISP meeting was completed with the McClellan family. The case worker was waiting in her car when she saw Mrs. McClellan ran into the house with Hailey the baby. The worker was greeted at the door by Mr. McClellan. The worker spoke with Mrs. McClellan about leaving Hailey unsupervised and not adhering to the safety plan. According to Mrs. McClellan, she left Hailey a few minutes with Ja's Shonna and her husband while she drops off her son to work. The worker immediate contacted her supervisor, Lakinna and told her what had just happed. Lakinna spoke with Renee. According to Lakinna the worker could like the child in the safety plan with Mrs. McClellan however, she must never again leave the child unsupervised …show more content…
Lastly, worker addressed Ja'Shonna dropping out Jamison high to get her GED. Ja'shonna, immediately Ja'Shonna got upset and left the room. The worker continue with ISP. According to Mr. McClellan's is still attending treatment even thought his drugs results are positive for Alcohol. Mrs. McClellan appeared to be upset and stressed as evidence by her telling the worker she wants her husband in home and fear of losing her job. The worker has reminded the family of providing service way of transportation and employment assistance for Mr. McClellan. The family told the worker they will let her know if they need additional services. Mrs. McClellan got upset with worker, and told her she does not understand and care about her family function. the worker tried to explained to Mrs. McClellan that she does care about her family however she has a job to do and If Ja'Shonna and Mr. McClellan are doing what is required of them would move the case closer to a closer. Mrs. McClellan said she partially agree and encouraged Ja' Shonna to complete her treatment so DHR could be out of their lives. The worker reminded Mrs. McClellan of Hailey's St. Jude sickle cell appointment. According to Mrs. McClellan Hailey's appointment is rescheduled for 9/13/17 AT
