In all great literature there is a common theme near the end of the book. The authors seem to answer the main question that has been lurking with the reader the whole book. In Lord of the
Flies, William Golding used the same type of ending when explaining that the naval officer found the boys on the island, but he leaves many questions unanswered such as; Did the boys find their parents? How did their lives change when they went back home? When I first finished the book I didn't expect it to be over like that.
