Currently, organizations have the opportunity to acquire ISO 9000 certification to guarantee to customers and shareholders that they are consistently creating high quality products. With the current presence of a rapid technological advancement, customer needs are constantly changing and consumers are expecting organizations to frequently design and develop new products. Nike has been extremely successful because they offer quality products and services and focus their attention towards helping others and pleasing customers. Philippians 2:4 states “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others” (ESV). Helping others is a common theme found throughout the Bible and should be a common theme in all businesses. Organizations that operate merely to generate profits and not focus on external consumers are acting in an image that God would quickly disapprove. Luke 6:28 states, “Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you” (ESV).
