Islamic terrorism has been an issue for years now. They have attacked more than 21 countries, causing more and more terror and becoming more powerful. They are willing to die since they don’t believe as other religions or governments. When you think about Islamic terrorism is the first think that comes to your mind 9/11? President Bush sent troops and he called his action, “war on terror”(history.com). United States had the support of many other nations such as France, Canada, Australia, and other ones. United States has nott been the only ones to suffer pain from terrorist. Egypt suffered an Islamic terrorism attack, when Anwar Sadat the president at the time was assassinated. He was “assassinated by terrorist dressed as troops they shot and threw grenades to the crowd” (History.com). Sadat and ten other people died at the attack, 25 men were charged in a trial IN November. Many of this 25 men where all proud of what they had done and admitted the charges, four where executed and seven teen where sentence to life in prison (History.com). Islamic terrorism has caused many controversies around the world one being that many people don’t agree that it should be called Islamic terrorism because not all Muslims people are terrorist. Although some people believed that their religion accepts terrorism and that it is part of their practices, truth is that Muslims are against terrorism. Islam’s are against any kind of violent they according to their bible they are a religion based on peace and love. Many have not heard of this type of group/ organization and it is said that when it comes to Christian terrorist groups the media gets “cold feet”, so the public is not informed (Americans against the Tea party.org para.2). An example would be the Lord’s Resistance Army, also known as the LRA. This terrorist group is originally from Uganda, the LRA is now active in Sudan, and the Central African Republic. It is said that the goal of the Lord’s Resistance Army is to reach a bible based state that uses the Ten Commandments as a guide. The LRA is in support of child sex slaves and children. The LRA follows the beliefs of Joseph Kony, a man from Uganda who would kidnap children for sex and war. Kidnapping is something else the Lord’s Resistance Army is known for, also for “forcing and training young boys to fight and kill while also forcing girls to be sex slaves” (AmericansAgainsttheTeaParty.org para.3). A consequence for these children who refused was that they were hacked to pieces. What these groups what do was take young girls and force them to be brides for soldiers, helping the spread of STD’s like HIV. These groups are violent and barbaric enough to destroy and wipe out
