Finally, from the fifteenth century to the seventh century is the Late Islamic Period. During the Late Islamic Period Islamic potters were the most innovated than any other Islamic period. This increase in innovation came as a result of the conquest of Constantinople and the establishment of the Ottoman Empire. During this time period Islamic art experienced a major revival (Cooper 1972). An example of this revival includes the expansion of colors used in decoration, particularly with Islamic Iznik potters. They introduced manganese purple, sage green, and black to their color palette. This period of continuity and renaissance also saw the acceleration of the decline of the industry.
