As many of us began this course,we thought to ourselves what is a worldview? Well,one definition quoted by Craig Rusbult is, “A worldview can be interpreted as a mental model of reality—a framework of ideas and attitudes about the world,ourselves,and life,it is a comprehensive system of beliefs—with answers for a wide range of questions” (Rusbult,1).In other words a worldview is how one sees and interprets the world.It can also be how a person views their own life,their religion,and their own morals.Believe it or not, we all have a worldview and most of us do not have the same worldview as each other.A worldview can be illustrated or set up as a triangle so we can get a better understanding.Every triangle has a base,the base of the triangle

The Theology of Islam is Unitarian Theism is almost like the Christian theism,Unitarian Theism is the belief in one God in one person (Noebel,UTT 52). Muslims also believe in creationism, but they believe their creator is Allah.As part of their worldview,Muslims deny the godliness of the Christian God and just see Him as a prophet.Islam is built upon the five pillars that most Muslims practice; 1.The first pillar is that Muslims must fully confess their faith by acknowledging that their is no God but allah and Muhammad is his prophet,those who confess this will complete sincerity of mind and heart,the he or she is a Muslim. 2.The second pillar is that they are commanded to pray five times a day,facing Mecca.Muslims men and some women are expected to be at the mosque and pray. 3.One must fast during Ramadan.Which means no food,smoking,and sexual relations during the hours of the day. 4.Muslims are expected to give 2.5 percent of their salary to the poor. 5.All Muslims are required to make a pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in their life, if they have the money and health to do it (Islam Guide 1).
