Islam is also an Abrahamic religion. Islam claims that the root Islam come for Ishmael which was the brother Isaac (root of Judaism). They were both son of Abraham. Islam arose in the city Mecca, where is Saudi Arabia present currently. Islam is also considered the mixture of Judaism and Christianity because they also believe in Moses and Jesus and some of their teachings. There are many kinds of Muslims, but most the most recognized are Shia, Sunnis and Wahhabis. The basic difference between Wahhabis and Sunnis is that Sunnis give extra respect to Muhammad where Wahhabis considered Muhammad a human being and concentrate on the message. Origin of those belongs to the same place of the earth, which is known as The Middle East (Public Broadcasting Services, n.d.). As we know that Judaism came first, Christianity came from Jewish tradition and Islam came after Christianity. All those religions are somewhat linked in their teaching and beliefs. The mission of these three religions is almost the same which is to thank God, obey the commandments of God, believe in the day of judgement and the life hereafter. However, the practices and ways of performing prayers and thanking the same God are different. Today media target is the only religion is Islam. Media constantly using Quran’s verses in order to create hype among people and make control them against each other and for the interest of their owners. One of the most popular verse used by media and Islamic extremist to destroy Islam’s image is, “kill them where you find them”. This verse is part of another verse which is, “fight against those who fight you” (Dr. Nazir Khan, n.d.). There is also another verse in that same paragraph which say, “But if they cease fighting, then let there be no hostility except against oppressors” (Dr. Nazir Khan, n.d.). Sometimes we need to read the whole paragraph in order to understand the whole message. Islam orders their believers that even though at war, a Muslim cannot attack women, children, and elderly or anyone who is not fighting against them (Dr. Nazir Khan, n.d.).
