The Islamic religion is one that is and has been growing in size since its beginning. The movie Islam an empire of faith was very educational teaching me and many others the significance of the religion and people who taught it. The film showed many things that would lead you to believe that the religion was much like and is like Christianity. Islamic followers believe in a god and a prophet lead to teach the world of this religion. Every Moslem believed that Islam was an ethical teaching of God, and that there was no physical representation of God. One God meant one tribe. 622 C.E. Was the first recorded year in the Muslim calendar. The first crusade was sent by the pope Urban the first in 1095 but didn't happen until 1099. It was sent to rid the holy land of the Muslims even though they both worshipped the same God. The Christians believed the Muslims were on there land therefore should be eradicated.
