If I were given the opportunity to create my own student organization at UC it would be ISCA. ISCA is an acronym for Indian Student Cultural Association, which is an organization that promotes Indian cultural (Hindu) festivals and holidays. Some festivals that ISCA would host are Navratri, Holi, Diwali, Uttrayan and many more. At these festivals students who are willing to try new things would come and learn more about the Indian culture through seminars, evening programs, and celebrations. The motive behind ISCA is to help preserve the Indian culture by teaching students of UC more about it, while having a good time.
