Isaiah Fighting The Assyrians

Isaiah was a prophet in the southern kingdom of Judah during 739 BC, his kingdom was fighting the Assyrians so they could be free from their control but Isaiah just wanted peace. Isaiah’s kingdom wanted freedom so they wouldn't have to pay the Assyrians to not attack. Isaiah once had a vision sent by the lord saying that god was surrounded by seraphim, Isaiah was then filled with wonder. He then realized how his people have been being unfaithful. God asked “Whom shall I send”, Isaiah then responded “Here I am Lord, send me”. Isaiah’s message is that war is not the answer and make peace. These facts give you a better idea of his character.
