Sir Isaac Newton was born December 25th, 1642 in Woolsthorpe Lincolnshire, England. Two months before Isaac’s birth his father passed away. At 3 years of age his mother remarried and moved away leaving Isaac with his grandmother. Newton’s early school life was basic. He went to public schooling and at the age of 12 he moved to the Kings School in Grantham, England. At 19, Newton entered Trinity College and began his studies. After receiving his bachelor's degree in 1665, Newton stayed on for his master's, but an outbreak of the plague caused the school to shut down. During this time Newton went back to his family farm and performed experiments which led to the creation of his gravitation and optics work. With the release of his first book Newton was established as a great scientist of his time not only in England but in the entire Western world. Newton’s Laws Of Physics were first introduced in 1686 in his Principia Mathematica Philosophiae Naturalis. These are the following laws. 1: Objects at motion stay in motion. 2: Objects at rest stay at rest. 3: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Another piece of information about Newton was that the apple story was not true. He later stated that an apple never fell and hit him on the head. While on his family farm he was in their apple orchard and witnessed an apple fall from a tree which sparked an “aha” moment in his head. There was no real evidence or account that an apple actually fell on his
