Newton started going to the King's school in Grant-ham which was located in Lincoln-shire, where he was introduced to the world of chemistry. Then, his mother pulled him out of school, so she would make him a farmer and have him tend the farm. Newton wasn't cut out for that job so he went back to King's school to finish his basic education. “Perhaps sensing the young man's innate intellectual abilities, his uncle, a graduate of the University of Cambridge's Trinity College, persuaded Newton's mother to have him enter the university” (A&E Network Television). “During his first three years at Cambridge, Newton was taught the standard curriculum but was fascinated with the more advanced science” (A&E Network Television). “Though Newton graduated with no honors or distinctions, his efforts won him the title of scholar and four years of financial support for future education” (A&E Network Television). The great plague had came to Cambridge so Newton had to move back home to have his own private …show more content…
“Legend has it that, at this time, Newton experienced his famous inspiration of gravity with the falling apple” (A&E Network Television). Some of the great things that Isaac Newton was the Newton Orbital Cannon “In laying out his law of universal gravitation, Newton described a mountain so gigantic that its summit poked into space -- and that's where he placed the giant cannon”(Lamb and Hopper). “His orbital cannon was a mere thought experiment explaining how one object might orbit another” (Lamb and Hopper). Newton also created the Newtonian Cat Doors “Newton never married and cultivated few friendships, but he did make room in his life for cats and dogs” (Lamb and Hopper). Newton did lay down the three laws of motion. Newton had more than one discoveries but here is one more and it was the philospher stone “It could turn lead into gold, cure illnesses and even transform a headless cow into a swarm of bees” (Lamb and Hopper). Now, moving on to Issac Newtons christian testimony “He spent more time on theology than on science; indeed, he wrote about 1.3 million words on biblical subjects”
