You cannot be fresh out of high school and land a job performing brain surgery, it just does not happen. The education you need to perform your duties successfully is waiting for you at the majority of the colleges or universities you many look into. Majoring and/or minoring in the field that you would enjoy working in shows that you are dedicated and willing to do anything to be in that career field. Nowadays all of the younger generations want to be doctors, nurses, police officers and teachers which all require several years of education and internships to attain the point of that title. Education is necessary when trying to acquire a job you can occupy for the rest of your life. Being successful for a brief period of time is thrilling, but knowing that after you retire there is still money to live off of, is even more fulfilling. When you have a satisfying job, the company can put you on a 401k plan that removes money from your paycheck every pay period to eventually live off of when the time comes. Without having that perk, odds are, when you age, you will either live off of social security, which is not an extensive amount, or you will be destined to work until you die. When one has a commendable job, they also have sick days, vacation time and paid days off. Personally, it would be more beneficial to have the latter
