My Moral Code

Moral is defined as a person 's standards of behavior or beliefs concerning what is and is not acceptable for them to do. This project is to define our moral code but the truth is I’m still finding that out myself. Ever since I graduated high school I have been on a self-quest to figure out what I want to do in life and who I want to be because before that my path has been painted black and white. As we grow up our parents put a moral code in use. For example, if we stand republican or democrat, how we should act as a male or female, what is right and wrong, and being gay or lesbian should be ashamed or looked down upon. After high school I have been on a self-looking journey for the past 4- 5 years not just only looking at the black and white picture but exploring and seeing all the colors the world can provide. There have been some situations where I look back and ask myself why did I do that, am I okay with this being my life style, is this my moral code, my belief. As I said before I’m on a journey to discover who I am and what my moral values are. It may take me the rest of my life or may come to me tomorrow but as I have written them on this paper I have discovered that I need to stop sitting around and thinking about it but to get out in the world and learn them. Life is tough but we must respect on another because we may figure out that we can be even stronger if we listen to one another. In conclusion my moral values are to treat others as they want to be treated as in the golden rule, do not judge others so quickly but get to know them and make judgement later as they may be who you do not think they are right of the start, and finally always know that there are a checks and balance system around, your actions will always have a re-action, they may be good and may be bad but they are a checks and balance system, just like yin and
