Men and teens would get drafted all the time into the Military leaving the women home to handle the jobs normally men would do. What many people know is that they did their jobs well and were great workers while the men had went away to fight in the wars. What most people don’t remember though is how hard the women fought after the men came home again and told them to go back to being just a housewife watching over the kids while they went to work. They weren’t in the greatest position but the country that the men had just fought is in a worse position in almost every way possible.
