Is the American Dream Still Possible? For many years, the United States has been known for it's endless opportunities. The most popular reason for people coming to the US has been the American Dream. Through all these years of this idea the dream is still suck with the US, but is it still possible? I find it ironic how white Americans chant or love talking about the importance of the American Dream, but when a Latin American goes for it, he or she is struck down. Nowadays, it's so hard for immigrants to get a job for their family and it's not easy to make it in America anymore like it used to be. The government is making it hard for immigrants to come to America because it's hard enough to get a visa and a green card and so now imagine how hard the government is going to make it for immigrants to cross the border. Immigrants in general have a much harder time reaching success when they compared to middle class or wealthy white Americans. Not only have many immigrants pulled through serious risks to reach this country, but sometimes they have to start from the rock bottom of the financial ladder after that hardship. We hear people like Donald Trump propose a solution for illegal immigration that he will build a great wall and that he will kick out all those people that are here illegally, even if that means breaking up families.
