Now and days people dream of achieving their American Dream some emigrants come to america for a chance at the American Dream. for people the american dream is being financially stable to be able to buy a house and having a family. Being able to but your kids into good schools and being able to retire from work with no worries. But the American Dream has lately been very impossible to achieve because people are not financially stable. The American Dream has slowly started being impossible because people try to fulfil their dream can’t because they are living paycheck to paycheck. Also in the article, “Is the American Dream Still Possible,” by David Wallechinsky, he talks about how are not living there dream no matter how hard they try to achieve their dream. “Still many are downsizing their dreams” or some say “the words ‘retirement’ and ‘vacation’ are not in our vocabulary”(wallechinsky pg. 56-57) what these quotes are saying is that people are working hard to achieve their dream and they don 't make it so they make their dream smaller for it can be easy for them to achieve their dream. Also some might downsize their dream like put their kids into good schools and retire but then they have to downsize that dream because they will be putting their savings for retirement into the kids school funds and don 't have money to save for their retirement. And in the article, “Why Most People Will Never Achieve the American Dream,” by Glenn Llopis he talks about how now it 's harder to achieve the American Dream that its not as easy as it was before. “ Unlike the past, when all you needed was a college degree to increase your chances of achieving the dream” (Llopis) what this quote is saying is that now your college degree can get you close to your dream but once you are close to your dream or else you wont get another opportunity to achieve your dream. This quote is a good example “ Ten year later, in law school, I knew that every legal pad was glued with sting of hidden cuts,”(Espada pg.74) he knew that his hard work has payed of and that he never gave up and got himself closer to his dream. Although he might say that he 's living his American Dream but because he is going to law school. But it 's not only a college degree like just because you have it doesn 't mine your going to achieve your dream now a days you have to know that you have to work for it and grab it when the opportunity
