It was actually a very interesting case. Long story short, a man named Edward Coolidge was suspected and eventually charged with killing a 14 year female named Pamela Mason. Edward was questioned and cooperatively agreed to take a lie detector test and even showed the officers three different guns that he owned. The lie detector was inconclusive, but he did however admit of committing theft. Two different officers decided to visit the home while Coolidge wasn’t there to confirm his story with the wife.…
Causing Ted Bundy to murder over 35 women, who were usually university students. And that Ted Bundy was rather independent and “did not understand interpersonal relationship”. Some psychologists assume that Ted Bundy had no sense of how to develop friendships and social interactions. And later on Ted Bundy too claimed that he had no sense of friendship and…
Personally, I do not think that they did enough investigations towards the case. Therefore, it would be hard to judge whether Cameron Todd Willingham is guilty or not guilty of intentionally setting the fire that killed his daughters. The fact that former Governor Perry did not allow the case to be extended for 30 more days in order for Willingham’s attorney to find more evidence for the case seems outrageous. If a man has been seating in jail for that many years, what is that to give that person 30 more days. One would never know what that 30 days will entailed and there might be a possible chance to free this person.…
Criminal Minds Analysis 1 S1, Ep11 Blood Hungry - a killer whose delusional fantasies lead him to commit three murders and a kidnapping. In the beginning when they found the second victim the crime profile was believed to be for two suspects, because you could tell that one victim only got as close as it took to see the victim while the other murdered and eviscerated the victim. They believed that one of the suspects was just a drug addict and thief because you could tell that the drug cabinet had been rummaged through and things had been stolen. While they thought the other was psychotic and possibly knew the victim because of the way the eviscerated the victim and only got as close as needed.…
Ted Bundy, born November 24, 1946, was a famous serial killer and rapist in the 1970s. He raped and murdered young women across several different states. He was connected to at least 36 murders, however people thought he committed hundred or more. He became somewhat of a “celebrity” during the trail with his charm and intelligence. But the court still gave him the death penalty and he was executed in 1989 by way of the electric chair.…
William Golding's fictional novel Lord of the Flies and Maria Mauro’s article “Children Who Murder: Jordan Brown, Eric Smith and Others: Jordan Brown: Too Young to Kill?” depict the horrific behavior of children in order to show the world that society must require consequences to deter such atrocities from happening. Mauro discusses a 13 year-old named Eric Smith, who murdered 4-year-old Derrick Robie in a park in Steuben County, New York. Eric dropped two big rocks on Derrick's head which caused his death. According to the text, “Eric was tried as an adult and was sentenced for 9 years-to-life in prison”(Mauro 1). Eric’s punishment was fair because his crime was brutal even though he was diagnosed by a psychiatrist with intermittent explosive disorder, a mental disorder that causes people to act out violently and…
Robert C. Hansen is known as Alaska’s most prolific serial killer. His patterns of kidnapping, rape, torture, and ultimately hunting his victims before killing them reads like a Hollywood movie script; and in fact did become a recent move, The Frozen Ground (2013). Robert “Bob” Hansen was born on February 13, 1939, in Estherville, Iowa to a Danish immigrant family. His father, Christian, was a baker by trade and operated his own bakery in their small town (Greig, 2012). In his youth, Robert was afflicted by a severe case of acne as well as a noticeable stutter when he spoke.…
In the book The Lord of The flies, by William Golding, Jack goes from being a good kid to more of a savage beast. Jack is like Ted Bundy in several ways. He begins as a average, intelligent young man, he gets a taste of what evil is like, and how evil overcomes all that they live for. Before I start talking about the similarities between these two, we must first know the background of Ted Bundy.…
Theodore Bundy had a tough childhood that caused him to get angry and kill at least thirty young girls. To conclude, the background of these serial killer back up Simon’s article well by providing real life evidence of the facts provided…
His operating method consisted of pretending that he was injured to draw women into his car by requesting them for assistance. Bundy would then usually rape his victims before beating them to death. The problem with this case was that investigators were having a lot of difficulty to match Ted Bundy with the murders that he had committed. Science and Methods Used Using little forensic evidence, investigators were able to link Bundy with only some of the murders he had committed. Shown below is a photo taken by the police 1975 which was used as evidence.…
I have come to believe that Absalom should be sentenced to death for the murder of Arthur Jarvis. Arthur Jarvis was a very kind and intelligent man and I do not think there was any reason for anyone to kill him. Arthur Jarvis was also a well-respected reformer in the black community. Arthur loved South Africa and was torn about the racial segregations and he even wrote comparisons to that with South Africa and a cheating woman: “It is only that one's love grows deep and passionate, as a man may love a woman who is true, false, cold, loving, cruel, and afraid” (Paton 158). Arthur sees the flaws and problems in South Africa, and these difficulties have only made his love for his country even more deep and passionate.…
Adnan Syed is not guilty in the murder of Hae Min Lee. Syed did not seem sad after the two had broken up because to Adnan, it seemed more of a high school relationship, nothing serious. Also, racism played a big role in the case, especially in Episode 10. Last, there is more evidence someone else could have killed Hae like Ronald Lee Moore. Adnan Syed is not guilty of murder because there was no change of attitude after the break up.…

All his victims had been young, attractive, and had dark hair worn at shoulder length or longer that was parted in middle. All of these victims resembled Stephanie, Bundy’s first love that he could never have (Ted Bundy’s Murders). Bundy did not want to be caught. When Bundy was interviewed by the Pensacola Police, he told them that he had spent hours studying how police investigations were conducted in order to reduce his chances of being caught. Bundy was resourceful, intelligent, and relentless.…
Two brothers on Wednesday, who were at the party in Arcata on April 15 when a Humboldt State University was fatally stabbed, said they were confronted by the alleged attacker and two women about a missing phone before their friend was stabbed. They said 23-year-old Kyle Zoellner’s girlfriend, Lila Ortega, and her friend, Naiya Wilkins approached them in front of the house party in the 1100 block of Spear Avenue then accused them and David Josiah Lawson, 19, of stealing an iPhone. The pair testified at the Humboldt County courthouse during a preliminary hearing for the man charged with their friend’s murder. “He (Zoellner) came up to me and was like ‘hey have you seen my girl’s phone?”…
