More people have cellphones than toilets. Out of the world 's estimated 7 billion people, there are 6 billion people have access to mobile phones. A lot more than the estimated 4.5 billion people that have access to a toilet. Of the 2.5 billion who don’t have proper sanitation, 1.1 billion defecate in the open, according to the study (CNN). There could be a couple of reasons that more people have cellphones than toilets. One of the most obvious reasons is that some people can have lots of kids in one house, and only a couple toilets. As I said before, technology makes saving lives much, much easier. Technology can make contacting someone easier by texting sometimes than calling. Let’s say you need to talk to someone and they are in a meeting; you’re not going to call them, or if you do they more than likely answer. So what’s the solution? Texting!
