People all over the world since the beginning of time have drank water. Water is a very important part of everyday life. From the things we grow, to the clothes we wash, to the toilets that use water to flush, water is a necessity. One of the most recent discussions on water is if bottled water is better or if tap water is better. Most Americans see nothing wrong with bottled water. Bottled water is actually better for you because it is safer, its easily accessible, and it definitely tastes better.

The first reason that most Americans like bottled water is because is a lot safer to drink. People that put in wells for tap water for their houses have experienced the well water be muddy or look like it has a red or orange tint to it because of clay or rust on the pipes. I have personally saw this in my grandparents home. Bottled water is safer because it is individually packaged. For instance, say someone sick touches a tap water faucet with there mouth, this transfers their sickness onto the next person that drinks after them. This cycles is often repeated. In fact Cholera,Dysentery, and Hepatitis E are all waterborne diseases. So this just tells us we should be safer with our water and where we get it from.

If you walk into the nearest gas station or any store near your house you will see that bottled water is a staple at that establishment.
