What is social network interdependency? It’s the world we live in today. Imagine a society where phones, computers, iPods, etc. did not exist? There was a time similar to this not too long ago. Where, interacting with someone face-to-face was considerably above the normal standards in civilization. Compared to texting and where nonhuman interaction is acceptable in today’s community. Although, like anything else they both have their pros and cons in the eras they partake in. We live in a period where technology is constantly pressing forward and communication is evolving by the day. We grew accustom to the virtual reality of things, online relationships, video messaging, and social network apps, but this doesn’t mean all these things are inadequate needs.
Before the technology boom, people had to interact, we had a technology stronghold, but it was not to the degree we have now. Kids were at the community parks, while families and friends gathered and socialized. Friendships came about though hangouts, outside games, things that required physical interaction. We rely on the advanced network to do what it was made to do, keeping us in tune with the rest of the world. We have experienced the pros and cons of both eras (if you were born before 1995), seeing the momentous change from one era to another. That has negatively affected our communication skills, but positively evolving as our eras do.
