Hello ladies, gents. Today I'll be explaining why Shakespeare's plays are still popular today alongside with a bunch of facts proving this. I'll be mainly focusing on the play "Macbeth" by Shakespeare of course, the play is about a man named Macbeth which receives these "prophecies" from three witches sying that he will soon be king. He believes these and tries his best to make these come true, he murders many people and betrays almost everyone except his wife, Lady Macbeth who helps him. His corruption of power comes to an end when he gets murdered, and his head is put on a pike. He made many varieties of films, not just one way to act it out either. Shakespeare has made many amazing plays, not just Macbeth. His plays are entertaining due to the great, original stories and all the plays aspects which i'll mention in just a second.

Another reason shakespeares plays are popular is because they intrigue many different audiences, each and every one of his films are different. They can be from, action, violence, stunning, girpping to films having aspects such as romance, nudity, charming, heart-breaking and sometimes a little bit of comedy.
Because shakespeares plays have a wide range of themes they grab the attention from everyone. Wether your into action, romance,comedy or horror shakespeare made sure you'll be watching one of his fantastic plays.

Another reason that plays are still popular is that people love to recreat shakespeares plays over and over and over. They are some that are close to being a normal play but a film, and some that take the same concept of a story and either modernise it or make it into just another film. A few films such
