There is an old Indian proverb that goes, “We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our children”. This was said by one wo had realized the greedy attitude and nature of people of today, is ruining the Earth for the people of tomorrow. Mahatma Gandhi even spoke on the matter once saying Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs but not every mans greed “He too realized that man’s greed was not only consuming themselves but the earth as well. It should come to no surprise that the Earth is ever changing. However, not all these changes are for the better. Negative change that this Earth is experiencing is the rapid decline of rainforests and this in turn is causing even more negative changes.
After extensive research over the span of the few weeks I have looked into this subject, I have found that the increase of deforestation efforts is also the cause of an increase in climate, resulting in a decrease of oxygen levels and cutting resources to medicinal cures and ailments that can save lives. I will not only be covering in what ways this deforestation negatively affects us, but also why it is imperative that we act and take steps to address this problem and what steps to take to go about addressing the situation.
Deforestation causes a great increase in greenhouse gas emissions more specifically and importantly carbon gas. This carbon gas emission causes an increase in the average temperature of the Earth and this is called global warming.…
