Who is most responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death?. In Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare Romeo and Juliet die. Romeo is the most responsible for their death. Romeo is the son of Lord Capulet. Romeo will make decisions that will lead to their deaths. For Example Romeo decided to go to the Capulet’s Ball, and to propose to Juliet. Romeo decided to go the ball because Mercutio convinced him to go after he said that his past love, Rosaline, will be there. Romeo also decided to go back to Verona after he was banished. Romeo makes this decision because he hears that Juliet has died.
Therefore Romeo is most responsible for Juliet’s and his death because he does not think about all of the consequences, and acts to quickly.
