Is Ponyboy A Hero

Hero. A person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. I think that Ponyboy Johnny and Dally have shown great heroism throughout the book. So why do I think that They are heros?

Ponyboy was a hero. He saved the children from the burning church when no one else would. Ponyboy hopped out of the car right when he heard that there were missing kids. Whereas Johnny and Dally followed behind. He and Johnny ran into the church and found the kids. He then stood outside while Johnny threw the kids to him. After Johnny killed Bob, Ponyboy didn't run. He stayed with Johnny and went through everything Johnny had to with him. That\s why I think that Ponyboy is a hero
