Bible, Preachings, and Sociology Sociology is the study of development, structure, and functioning of human society.The way I Look at sociology is how people work with each other, how people isolate from one another, and how individuals have their own beliefs on topics. Through concepts and society I can clearly see how faith is integrated into how one gains sociological knowledge. Though my faith, I can see how the readings relate and help me understand concepts of sociology. Through my knowledge of faith through the Bible and preaching, I can see the different ways faith is connected to sociology. In the Bible I see the different ways it views a topic or a subject. As I live I see the issues and problems with our society. I see how faith is directly tied into sociology. By having a solid background of faith, one will truly learn how to live a righteous life. A righteous life can mean many things to different people, but to me, I see how it means to live with faithful views in life. By learning many different concepts and indicators in sociology I have learned how groups form and barriers are made. In class I recall when we talked about how people conform to groups or just conform with the majority of people. This has made me realize how one needs very strong morals, so they have the internal power to make the right decisions. Jesus tests us by making us deal with hard situations and sees how we overcome these challenges. The way we apply faith to sociology allows us to live a better Christian life style. By applying faith to the study of human society, one can understand concepts and apply them in a very Christian way to his or her lifestyle. Through faith, I understand how one can really open up their views of sociology and apply it in a mannerly fashion. Through the Bible and preachings it will help one live a more sound life.
