Is Odysseus A Good Leader

Are you a bad leader if your comrades die?
Can we describe that Odysseus is a good leader based on his journey? In THE ODYSSEY by Homer, the main character Odysseus experiences many dangers to reach home. The obstacles that Odysseus faces include Calypso the goddess, Polyphemus the Cyclops, Sirens, and Scylla. There is also a sub-story where many suitors try to marry Penelope to become the head of the house. After many years Odysseus will return to Ithaca and will kill all the suitors. Odysseus is very calm during any battle and he makes wise choices to help his crew survive, this is why he is a good leader.
This quote shows that Odysseus is a leader that protects his comrades when they're in crisis. When Odysseus said 'Stay where you are,
