The tragic hero is Macbeth in the play Macbeth because he’s a good person but has many flaws in his personality making him a tragic hero. In the beginning Macbeth seems like he has a lot of power because of the prophecies the witches said in the start of the play. He is given a name with power that makes him seem very worthy. The name Thane of Cawdor is an important name especially in political manner. Even people who are higher power start to notice he is worthy to be mentioned. Like Duncan for example who is much higher power than Macbeth is himself. Duncan gives him high honor and at the same time as a friend by saying “…valiant cousin, worthy gentleman!” which is a very high standard.

So people start riots wanting him to be dead trying to get rid of him and have someone else in charge is what they are trying to accomplish. So now Macbeth is in fear of his life now because people are going after trying to kill him. He starts to realize why people want to kill him to get revenge back at him. But you know he can’t think for himself so he is still listening the witches who are giving him really bad advice. They tell him to stay fearless and bold that can defeat him until the final battle. Then he finds out he has a worthy opponent his name Macduff who chops off his head making Macbeth the loser. Then someone explains how Macbeth was a tragic hero at the end of the play.
That is how Macbeth became a tragic hero in the play called Macbeth. He was a good person at heart but he changed dramatically. He didn’t think for himself he let others think for him, which isn’t right. I think if He didn’t listen to what other people said he would’ve been a better person.
