First the author states that, "Sometimes lying could be the more appropriate ethnical response to a ethnical conflict." "For example, if a friend of yours were to ask you "How do I look in my new outfit." "One might be compelled to tweak the truth to not offend or hurt the feelings of someone who matters to you".
This means that a tiny white lie like this really isn't going to matter in any way shape or form. Your better off lying and making the person feel better about themselves, rather than hurting
