Antony is the more sympathetic character in Shakespeare’s, The Tragedy of Julius Caesar. He is not afraid to express his emotions. In his speech, about the loss of his friend, Caesar, he opened up his feelings. He went into detail about Caesar, and how he was a faithful man to him. “Come I to speak in Caesar's funeral. He was my friend, faithful and just to me: But Brutus says he was ambitious; And Brutus is an honourable man”(III,ii,950). When Antony is speaking at the funeral oration, he persuaded the audience to make them go against Brutus.
