Is it really possible to argue so definitely that meaningful actions require “active engagement?” Are there not situations where the worth an action has outweighs the need for “active engagement?” It would seem that to say one must enjoy an action for it to have meaning leads to a huge amount of subjectivity in what is actually meaningful in life. 3. Is it possible to define Wolf’s “objective value” in a way that supports her argument for the meaningfulness of life? Would it be better to argue
