Lying is never okay because it gets you into more trouble. Some people think it is okay because they done it forever. A lot of people believed that lying is the solution to everything. Parents think that kids should tell the truth and take the their punishment really well. Also they have to be honest or they will get into a lot of trouble and that is not a good thing. I think kids should tell the truth no matter how much trouble they get into.

First, lying is not okay because you not telling the truth and that can get you into a lot of trouble. Lies can come in handy when you are trying to hide something from your parents. In the article, Teens do their share of lying, states that lying is okay so you can get out of trouble and not get caught about what you were really doing. For example, Margo states that you should not tell a whole lie or the whole truth and when your parents asked you you say you don’t remember. Also it states that teens lie because they can and it is on a need to know basis. In the article it also says that teens lie because they don’t want their parents to know what they are really up to. Teens think is okay to lie because they done it so many times and they became really good at it.
