7,463,378,558. That is the world’s population. That number means that 7,463,378,558 people experience each day in a different way than you have. When you’re out at the grocery store and you’re wondering why someone is so rude, it might be because they haven’t had as good of a day as you have. Sometimes you’re the rude one, and you wonder why others are being so happy and obnoxious. Often times, people are too quick to judge others. Happiness and kindness get neglected when they should be the center of our attention. Unless you go through everyday life with 7 billion people, you can’t scrutinize them. They are living life differently than you, they have different priorities and needs than you do. One of my dreams for the future is for everyone to be kind to one another. I don’t think people realize how much their words and actions affect other people. My brother was affected by bullying during his years in junior and senior high school. His bullies neglected to realize how big of an impact they had on my brother. He attempted suicide numerous times. I thank God every day that he didn’t succeed.. But what if he had?

Try to imagine all of the people that never got help, all of the people that just gave up and committed suicide. I am aware that depression isn’t fixed by people smiling at you.
