Is It Ever Justified To Lie Research

What if your dad died and you had to travel because he lived in a whole different place. You didn’t want to tell your children because you knew they were really close to him.Would you lie to them or tell them the truth later on? I firmly believe lying is acceptable in our society only in certain situations.

Lying is justified when it can be used to protect and care for others. For example, lying to save others is a life or death situation.This connects to my argument because during the war Anne Frank was protected by a family who had to lie to the Nazie for the Nazie wont kill Anne Frank.What i mean by this is that you should lie to protect others. For example, in article 1 it states that your child eats too much sugar and he want cookies so you lied to him, you tell him that there are no more cookies. Another way to say this is that you want to keep them healthy so you need to lie.
