Is It Better To Live On Campus Or Community College?

When someone lives in a small town like Puckett, Mississippi, there are many important factors one must take when deciding to live on campus or commute. As far away Puckett is to the nearest university or even a community college, commuting definitely would not be the most affordable option. While the idea of staying at home or living alone might sound intriguing, the convenience of living on campus would benefit students for many reasons. Some of these reasons include getting the college experience, facing the difficulty of transportation, and dealing with living arrangements. Students who do not live on campus may not fully experience college while students who live on campus would by becoming more involved in campus life. Living on campus could give students the opportunity to meet hundreds or even thousands of different types of people and allow them to take part in many different activities that colleges offer. Having to commute to school would be very costly when going to and from school. Students would have to pay more money for gas or pay money for public transportation, if that option is even available to them. Another issue with commuting would be parking. Students who drive would have to get to school at a very early time in order to find a parking spot. The struggle of finding a parking spot could cause a tremendous amount of stress on the student, because if they can not find a spot they will not be able to go to class.
