Just imagine a regular day of teaching in a pre-k class. Something wacky is always happening along with eye-opening learning experiences. Before heading straight into the classrooms, teachers must learn how to instruct the proper way in order for these experiences to happen. There are many colleges that offer different degrees and majors for those wanting to become teachers. In order to become a preschool teacher one must major in early childhood education and earn a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, which usually takes four years of college. Typically someone going to school to become a teacher spends the last two years of college studying childhood education. During these last two years, they are required to spend a certain amount of hours a semester in a classroom observing. Once a teacher earns their Bachelor’s degree, they have to become certified in early childhood education.
